About Our Media Center
The New Hope Middle School Media Center strives to be a welcoming hub at the heart of our learning community, creating a comfortable and supportive environment where every student can explore, relax, and grow. We aim to foster a culture of literacy, curiosity, and creativity by providing opportunities for students to discover books that interest them, listen to audiobooks, engage in crafts, play board games, work on puzzles, or unwind through calming activities like coloring. By offering meaningful choices, the media center encourages students to connect with reading and learning in ways that feel enjoyable and accessible.
Our media center features a collection of approximately 10,000 items that reflect the unique interests, goals, and needs of our community, giving students access to a wide variety of genres, topics, and perspectives. Designed with the diverse needs of middle school learners in mind, the space supports academic growth while also recognizing the importance of social-emotional well-being. Students may gather for class lessons and collaborative experiences, explore creative outlets, or find a quiet space to recharge.
